Support policymaking and farmers in green agriculture reform: Rice production in Vietnam(funded by ACIAR, 2024)

The analysis undertaken in this project offers insights into the financial incentives for Vietnam’s rice farmers in the Mekong River Delta to implement low-emission techniques. Another objective of the project is to provide guidance for farmers and groups of farmers on the process of making environmental benefits from improved farming techniques eligible for trade. The project also provides recommendations for enabling farmers to adopt climate change mitigation through the carbon market in the context of Vietnam.
