Masterclass on Climate Change and Energy Transition

The Masterclass on Climate Change and Energy Transition for Vietnamese senior MPs, funded by DFAT under the Mekong-Australia Partnership and delivered by ANU, was a resounding success. Held in Vietnam and Australia from July to August 2023, the program featured 18 Vietnamese MPs. This inaugural event coincided with the 50th anniversary of Australia-Vietnam diplomatic relations. The Masterclass included 32 interactive sessions, receiving exceptional feedback with a 5-star rating from participants, who recommended its replication. It was positively mentioned in meetings between the Australian Prime Minister and Vietnamese counterparts, exemplifying capacity building and cooperation between the two countries.
