Dr Thai Nguyen is an economist at the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. Before joining the Department, Dr Nguyen worked at the ANU and ACT Treasury. Her research interests are labour economics, economic forecasting and energy economics (including household welfare impacts of environmental taxes, cost-benefit analysis of coal-fired power generation, and energy-GDP nexus.)
